Who We Are
The Global Express is a blogging club which writes/posts articles about global affairs and current events. It was formally established in 2014 as a community service project for the High School Leadership Institute at Wartburg College. Now, it is a project under the Nexus program for the Contemporary Issues class at the Waverly-Shell Rock High School.
By partnering with the International Club at Wartburg College, The Global Express hopes to have a larger outreach in the community.
With our inititiatve, we hope to have a postitive impact on others by changing stereotypical mindsets by which international affairs/events are viewed.
Our Mission
to educate and inform about growing, pertinent issues and global cultures, traditions, and beliefs, in an effort to instill an understanding, knowledge, and tolerance for those from diverse and unique backgrounds.
