THE LATEST ON SYRIA

During a fragile cease-fire that is in its third day, regular updates have been being made and a lot has been decided.

Firstly, the World Food Program (WFP) says that the $675 million pledged by the UN earlier this month is going to be able to feed Syrian refugees in Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, and Egypt from March to the end of the year. It was also stated that this money would be used to supply Syrians still in their home country and to provide food baskets that the families can rely on. This would be happening from April till October.

Kuwait is showing unwillingness to allow Syrians to re-enter Kuwait, due to alleged incidents of fraud with documents issued in Damascus. These Syrians are being moved around, and the situation is still developing, therefore we don't have much information. In other news, Russia has decided that they are again ready, "in all formats," to work with the United States in the fight against the Islamic State.
